AMS Vending Machines
AMS Vending Machines also known as Automated Merchandising Systems, was founded in 1997 by Roy Steeley, a veteran in the vending industry. Steeley’s experience dated back to the 1930’s when he began his career in vending with Victor Products and later joined Dixie Narco, climbing the professional ladder to serve as prsident of Dixie Narco. At the age of 67 he retired from Dixie Narco and then in 1988 founded Royal Vendors to manufacture a line of innovative Cold Drink Machines.
He sold Royal Vendors in 1996 and in 1997 started AMS Vendors. Again with unique, innovative technology, Steeley transformed the vending industry in the form of a glass front snack machine with a novel vend verification feature, SENSIT, and a ground breaking cabinet that uses insulated foam as a structural element.
AMS is now built in a state of the art plant right down the street from Royal Vendors. Many of the procedures that were implemented at Royal are used at AMS as well.
